Euro 2012 IMO

While life and work have been getting in the way lately I still managed to catch a few Euro games over the past few days.  I have to say from a neutral perspective this tournament has been extremely exciting to watch.  It could also be that I have been watching too much North American soccer lately and not enough Football!  In any case I am seriously impressed with the so called underdog teams with my condolences going out to all my Greek friends.

Overall though the quality of ordinary European players is rather impressive.  For the most part all teams have some star power and what makes the games so fantastic are all the solid dependable players that surround the one or two stars on those teams.

I hope that I get the chance to watch more games throughout the tournament but so far it has been the best football I’ve seen in a long time.

And the best games are the underdog vs underdog.  Watching those games for me has been the most exciting part of this tournament.
