Adam Henrique scored 63 seconds into overtime to send the New Jersey Devils to the Stanley Cup Final with a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers in Game 6 on Friday. The Devils will meet the Los Angeles Kings beginning Wednesday in Newark.

Yannick Veilleux broke a tie at 13:14 of the third period as the host Shawinigan Cataractes upset the defending champion Saint John Sea Dogs 7-4 in the semifinal of the Mastercard Memorial Cup on Friday night. Shawinigan advances to play the London Knights in the championship game.

Nelson Cruz hit a grand slam and tied his career high with eight RBIs, Josh Hamilton hit his 19th home run of the season and the Texas Rangers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 14-3 Friday night.

Howie Kendrick broke a tie in the top of the ninth inning with a two-run single off closer Brandon League, and the Los Angeles Angels rallied from a 4-0 deficit for a 6-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on Friday Night.

Albert Pujols homered for the second straight game, his sixth of the season.

Kevin Garnett won’t be posting any comments from the 76ers owners on his mental bulletin board. The Philadelphia fans won’t be getting all riled up over comments deriding their loyalty. The Celtics and Sixers will play Saturday night for a spot in the Eastern Conference finals, where one of them will face the Miami Heat for the right to play for the NBA title.
